The #Mosque of the #Prophet, known as Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, is one of the holiest places in Islam. Located in Medina, #Saudi #Arabia, this mosque is the second most sacred site in Islam after Masjid al-Haram in #Mecca. It was built by Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) himself in 622 CE, shortly after his arrival in Medina. The mosque also houses the tomb of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as well as those of his companions, Abu Bakr and Umar.

Al-Masjid an-Nabawi is an important pilgrimage site for Muslims, especially during Hajj and Umrah. The mosque's architecture is impressive with its vast courtyard, domes, and majestic minarets. The "Rawdah," a space located between the minbar and the tomb of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), is considered one of the gardens of Paradise and a place of answered prayers.
